Set up in 2001, the Dot NAME generic domain extension is the only one meant for personal websites only. These domains can be personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other titles people are famous by. Initially, only third-level registrations were permitted, so if you planned to acquire john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was loosened and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already bought 3rd-level domains remained working.

You will be able to correct the WHOIS contact information, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already registered domain to our firm if you receive its EPP transfer code from the current registration service provider and we will renew it once the transfer has been completed.
